Meacham`s Restaurant in Ash Flat

Food very good, servings generous, desserts are too good!!! Service is excellent. 4 stars, because, for a hometown eatery, it’s not inexpensive to dine there.

Took my niece and nephew years ago and because they were of Asian decent the waitress made a difference in them and other customers.. They took way to long with our food and never came back to check on us. They brought us the bill and when I went to pay it they got in a hurry to get us out of there. That was about 25 years ago and the now grown children still remember it.. The only other place they were treated different was at the Dairy Queen in Salem but that was some other customers.. My nephew was only about 4 and he brought it to my attention about how a woman kept looking at him mean and ugly were his words.. I told him not to worry about it and how beautiful the Creator had made them beauty is only skin deep he said but that woman was ugly all the way to the heart . What a smart young man he was... He offered her his ice cream on the way out with the biggest smile i had ever seen... He made her smile back at him by just standing there looking up at her and being sincere.

An excellent place to get homemade food; burgers, fried broccoli and cauliflower & onion rings are piled high and crispy! We go specifically for fried veggies you can't find anywhere else. Small place but comfortable.

Always great food and service!

Really good salad, great homemade ranch dressing. Huge onion rings, and huge servings of the same. The small order id's more than me and the wife could eat. My wife had a BLT, it was good. I got the fried shrimp, it was also good. Lots of good fried foods, not great, but pretty good. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was great. Altogether a very good deal at the low prices offered. They also have many daily schedules for even more savings.

I love Meachams food and service is good! It's always busy! My Grandpa used to say, "you can find the best restaurant by the longest line!

I’m from out of town. The restaurant and staff are so wonderful, I would literally plan an entire vacation around getting to go to Meacham’s.

Meachams is one of the best restaurants I have dined at. The food is amazing- original menu items, always fresh ingredients, great variety, absolutely delicious, and prepared perfectly. The staff and owners are amazing- always friendly, helpful, polite, make you feel like royalty a bit! Family friendly and treat you lile family! Very clean establishment in every way. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is all 10/10 fantastic. New items on special every day. This place is a real gem not just for us who live in the area but for anyone travelling through the state.

Onion rings are the best. Small burger big enough to share. Service is great and friendly staff

He stop in 15 years ago. Then we were passing by last week and they are open. We stopped for lunch. The owner is an outgoing fun person, with a great personality. The food is over the top good. It is worth going out of your way to eat were. *****

Unexpected food for a "country" diner.They make their own salad dressings as well as from scratch mashed potatoes plus they add a little extra twist to make even the salad look appealing! They are not cooking their food just like everyone else does. They make it their own! Chili burger is served open face with chili and cheese - yum!

Meacham's is absolutely wonderful! It's a 90 minute drive from where we live & we make sure to get out there as often as possible.

Best place to eat.

Staff is always nice. Curtious to customers, always ask if everything is good. Food is always good .GREAT COOK. They always thank us for coming. Nice place to eat. I just wish they were open more.

Great restaurant with an awsome steak. I have to warn about the onion rings! Be careful when u order those things are HUGE!!!

Just stopped by to eat and they locked the doors while we were walking in. Door shows that they close at 9. Still had over an hour according to the sign. Was told we closing early, there was still people inside.

A family owned, family friendly restaurant with excellent service, a generous menu, and great prices. Had the liver and it was perfect. It's has lots of customers which is evidence of it being a great place. This is one of the area's favorite restaurants.

A quaint family restaurant with excellent food and service! I had the chicken fried steak. It is served with the cream sauce (gravy) on the bottom. Order more sauce, this is amazing! Do yourself a favor and order mashed potatoes, they are the best I've tried. The service is second to none. The whole place is very clean and inviting. Soft drinks are very expensive but offer free refills with a smile. Restrooms are located outside, an oddity but were very clean.
